Terms and conditions

These conditions apply to every journey booked with Paris Long Trip, a licensed French VTC operator. They were last updated in August 2026.

1. Who we are

Paris Long Trip is a private hire vehicle operator (VTC) registered in France. Our registration and licence numbers appear in the footer of every page of this website and on every invoice we issue.

2. Quotations

Every quotation is given in writing before travel and covers the whole vehicle, not a price per passenger. It includes motorway tolls, fuel, parking at the destination and the driver’s waiting time for the itinerary agreed. It does not include entrance tickets, meals or official monument guides. A quotation is valid for 14 days.

3. Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed when we acknowledge it in writing. No deposit is taken and no card details are held. Payment is due at the end of the journey, by card or in cash, and an invoice is issued.

4. Changes on the day

Additional stops, a materially longer itinerary or a significant extension of the agreed hours may be charged as a supplement, quoted and agreed with you before the change is made. Nothing is ever added to your bill without your agreement.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time. Within 24 hours, 50 percent of the quoted price is due; we waive this where the cause is a cancelled flight, illness or another circumstance beyond your control. If we cancel, you pay nothing and we will help you find an alternative.

6. Delays and force majeure

We track flight arrivals and do not charge for waiting caused by a delayed flight. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, industrial action, road closures or other events outside our control, nor for missed connections resulting from them.

7. Passengers and luggage

The number of passengers and items of luggage must not exceed the capacity of the vehicle booked. Please declare oversized items in advance. Child and booster seats are provided free of charge when requested at the time of booking.

8. Conduct and damage

Smoking is not permitted in our vehicles. The driver may end a journey where the behaviour of passengers endangers safety. Any cleaning or repair required as a result of passenger damage may be invoiced at cost.

9. Insurance

We carry the passenger transport insurance required by French law, valid throughout the European Union, with additional cover for journeys to the United Kingdom.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris.
