Any private hire journey where the driving time in one direction is more than about an hour, or where the trip crosses a region. It covers day trips with the driver waiting, one-way transfers to a city or hotel, and multi-day tours with the same driver throughout.

It depends on distance, tolls and the hours the driver is committed. As a guide: Versailles from €90 Giverny from €300 Reims and Champagne from €550 the Loire castles from €870 the D-Day beaches from €990 Bruges from €1,140 Mont Saint-Michel from €1,370 Amsterdam from €1,900. Every figure is for the whole vehicle.

Never. Every price we quote is for the whole vehicle, up to 7 passengers. Four people pay what one person pays, which is what makes private hire competitive against per-seat rail fares from three passengers upwards.

The whole vehicle, all motorway tolls on both legs, fuel, parking at the destination, your driver’s waiting time however long it runs, child and booster seats, flight tracking, bottled water and Wi-Fi. Entrance tickets, meals and official monument guides are not included.

No. There is no night rate, no Sunday or holiday supplement, no luggage charge and no extra-passenger charge. The agreed price does not move.

Nothing, and it costs nothing. We track the flight number you give us and your driver goes to the terminal for the actual landing time. The first hour after landing is free waiting time as standard.

Up to 3 passengers and 3 large cases in the saloon, up to 7 passengers and 8 large cases in the people carrier, and up to 16 in a minibus. Pushchairs, golf bags and ski equipment are fine — tell us in advance so we send the right vehicle.

Yes, free of charge: baby seats, child seats and boosters. Give us the ages of the children when you book and the seats are fitted before the driver leaves.

Yes. We work almost entirely with visitors from the UK and Ireland, so every driver on these routes speaks English.

Yes. We are a registered French VTC operator, insured for passenger transport in France and across the European Union. Our SIRET and licence number appear on every invoice and in the footer of this site.

French law separates the two roles: a chauffeur may not guide inside monuments. Your driver will happily tell you about what you are passing, and we can add an accredited guide for a fixed supplement where one is useful, such as the D-Day beaches or Versailles.

Forty-eight hours is comfortable. Same-day is often possible subject to availability. Book several weeks ahead for Strasbourg in December, for D-Day anniversary weekends in early June, and for anything crossing on the Eurotunnel.

On the day, to the driver, by card or in cash. No deposit is taken and no card details are held when you book.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the pick-up time. Inside 24 hours we ask for 50 percent, waived for a cancelled flight or illness.

Yes. The listed routes are the ones we run weekly, not the limit. We quote anywhere in France and western Europe, including the Alps, the Riviera, Bordeaux, the Dordogne, Geneva, Zurich, Luxembourg and Barcelona.
