How Paris Long Trip collects, uses and protects your personal data, under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
Paris Long Trip is operated by Mohamed Sajath JIAVUDEEN, sole trader registered in France (SIRET 899 318 372 00013) and licensed VTC operator (EVTC093251305). He is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.
What we collect
Only what is needed to run your journey: your name, your telephone number or email address, your pick-up and drop-off addresses, your travel dates and times, your flight number where relevant, the number of passengers and the ages of any children travelling in child seats, and any notes you add to your request. When you browse the site, and only if you accept cookies, we also collect anonymous usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate country) and whether you arrived from one of our Google ads.
Why we collect it
To prepare a quotation, to organise the vehicle and driver, to track your flight, to contact you before and during the journey, and to issue an invoice. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract and the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); our legal obligations for invoicing and accounting (Article 6(1)(c)); and your consent for analytics and advertising cookies (Article 6(1)(a)).
Who we share it with
Your first name, pick-up address and travel time are shared with the driver assigned to your journey. Nothing is sold, rented or passed to any third party for marketing. Our accountant sees invoice records as required by French tax law.
To run the website and handle your requests we use a few service providers acting on our behalf: Hostinger (website hosting, EU), Google (email, calendar, Google Analytics and Google Ads), Make.com (automation that adds your booking to our calendar) and WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose to contact us there. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union under the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking and invoice records are kept for 10 years, which is the retention period required of French businesses for accounting documents. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Cookies
Essential: we store your cookie choice in your browser so that we do not ask you again.
Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics 4 (audience measurement) and Google Ads (measuring which ads lead to a booking request) are only activated if you click “Accept all” on the cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, Google tags run in a restricted mode (Google Consent Mode) and no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
You can change your choice at any time: open cookie settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to the data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, withdraw your consent at any time or request that it be transferred to you. Write to the email address below and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
