Every day trip we run from Paris
A day trip out of Paris only works if the logistics disappear. The reason these particular destinations are on our list is that all of them are awkward or impossible to reach by train in a single day, and all of them repay the drive.
Each price below is for the whole vehicle for the whole day, up to seven passengers, with motorway tolls, fuel, parking and your driver’s waiting time already inside it. Nothing is charged per person and nothing is added on the day.

What is the best day trip from Paris?
For a first visit, Versailles or Giverny if you want a half day, the Loire castles or the D-Day beaches for a full one, and Mont Saint-Michel if you are willing to give up a whole day for the single most striking place in northern France.
How long is a day trip from Paris?
Between six and fourteen hours door to door. Versailles and Giverny are half days. Champagne, the Loire and Normandy are 10 to 13 hours. Mont Saint-Michel is 13 to 14.
Are day trips from Paris worth it?
If you have four days or fewer in Paris, probably not — the city will fill them. From five days upwards, one trip out is what most people remember afterwards.
Can we do two destinations in one day?
Often, yes: Giverny with Rouen, Honfleur with Deauville, Reims with Épernay, Bruges with Ghent. Two destinations more than 90 minutes apart usually means seeing neither properly.
