Paris Long Trip is a licensed private chauffeur company based in Paris. We run one kind of work: the long journeys out of the city. Not the twenty-minute hotel run, not the hourly hire around the arrondissements — the three, four and five-hour drives to Normandy, the Loire, Champagne, Burgundy, Alsace and across the Belgian and Dutch borders.

That focus is the whole proposition. A company that does everything treats Mont Saint-Michel as a long airport transfer. A company that only does long journeys knows which services on the A13 are worth stopping at, which car park at Giverny fills first, what time the coaches reach the bay, and which order to visit the Loire châteaux in so you are not shoulder to shoulder in the gallery at Chenonceau.

How we price

Everything is quoted for the whole vehicle, in writing, before you book. Motorway tolls, fuel, parking and your driver’s waiting time are already inside the figure, so a delayed flight or a traffic jam costs you nothing extra. There is no meter, no fuel surcharge and no per-passenger pricing. Four people pay what one person pays.

Who we drive

Almost entirely visitors from the United Kingdom and Ireland, which is why every driver on these routes speaks English, why we quote in sterling and why every booking is confirmed on WhatsApp rather than through a booking engine. Child and booster seats are free, and the people carrier takes eight large cases without anyone travelling with a bag on their lap.

Licensing and insurance

We are a registered French VTC operator, insured for passenger transport in France and throughout the European Union, with the appropriate cover for the United Kingdom on Eurotunnel journeys. Our SIRET and licence numbers appear on every invoice and in the footer of every page on this site. If your employer needs the certificates before approving a booking, ask and we will send them.

What we will tell you not to book

If you are one person going from central Paris to central Strasbourg, take the TGV. If you have three days in Paris, do not spend one of them on a fourteen-hour round trip to Mont Saint-Michel. If you want Étretat and the D-Day beaches on the same day, you want two days. We would rather lose the booking than sell you a day you will regret, and saying so has brought us more repeat business than any advertisement.
